This policy explains what Pupli ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. Pupli is a puppy training & tracking app for adult pet owners.

Information we collect

• Account identity — your name and email from Sign in with Apple or Google when you create an account.
• Pet profiles — the name, breed and birth date you enter for each dog.
• Activity logs — potty, crate and feeding entries; weight measurements; schedule and socialization progress.
• AI-coach messages — the questions you send the coach and the replies (see Third parties).
• Subscription status — whether you have an active premium subscription (not your payment card, which the app stores never share with us).
• Diagnostics — crash reports and basic, aggregate usage analytics to keep the app stable.

How we use it

To provide the app's features (logging, schedules, insights, the coach), keep your data in sync across your devices, generate coaching replies, process your subscription, and fix crashes. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third parties

• Google Firebase processes and stores your data on our behalf (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• AI-coach provider. When you message the coach, your message and a short summary of your puppy's profile and recent activity are sent to a third-party large-language-model provider to generate a reply. We do not send your name or email, and we ask the provider not to train on your data.
• Apple & Google handle in-app purchases and subscriptions under their own privacy policies.

What we don't do

No third-party advertising, no IDFA / cross-app tracking (no App Tracking Transparency prompt), and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual entries in the app, and deleting your account removes your account data from our systems within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, export of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@pupli.app. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA under [JURISDICTION]) you may have additional rights.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest via our infrastructure provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Pupli is intended for adult pet owners and is not directed at children under [AGE]. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
